This is the least expensive protection option. A thin coat of transparent penetrating sealer is applied to new concrete. It provides a degree of waterproofing and resistance to dusting as the surface us subjected to foot and vehicle traffic. Material and application cost? Just pennies per square foot. Joint filling is often included when concrete sealers are applied.

2. Concrete Coatings

This option typically refers to epoxy and urethane cement coatings applied at thicknesses ranging from 1/32 to 3/8 inch.
